"Tried it once, went again on the next day. I just loved the steak with the sauce o poivre. It honestly wasn't the best steak, fries or salad I ever had but everything just matched. The service was fast and nice. The Restaurant rather simple but traditional. I enjoyed the relaxed ambience. If you're staying in Place de Clichy you really should come here if you want to grab a nice steak with pepper sauce. Don't forget the wine! I would come again for sure"

"We just got to Paris today and picked this restaurant and were so glad we did. The meal was perfect, the staff were great, and the atmosphere was great. The onion soup was so delicious and well seasoned. We loved our croque monsieur meals, which were packed with flavor and the fries were perfectly crispy. Even the salad had a delicious mustard vinegarette. Lovely meal for a good price. Thank you for the positive welcome to Paris!"

"Great place. We found it staying in Paris just next door (hotel Darcet - another place to recommend) and we visited La Moncey every day. Very friendly and helpful crew speaking communicative English. The place is not overpriced regardless of fantastic location. They have good beer, cocktails and wines. And the food! We had french breakfasts, snails, frog legs (those french delicacies are not necessarily my taste), steak, burgers, omlettes and onion soup. Definitely the soup is the winner but every dish was really well-prepared and tasty. I recommend this brasserie!"

"Had a wonderful time here! During a visit to Paris with my mom, we decided to stop by a restaurant that was nearby our hotel and decided to try eating here. We tried the €25 per person menu, where three courses are given. We had an amazing time and the food was great as well! I had the duck leg and my mom had the steak. Given it was a lot of food for the both of us, but we still thoroughly enjoyed it. Will be recommending to friends and we will be coming back. Thank you for the wonderful experience!"

"Food was pretty good. The frittes were amazing! Steak tartare has pickles, which are not my favorite. The egg and mayo dish was very tasty as well."

"Lovely food and great selection. Menus in English so not difficult to order like some. Mussels are a specialty here so a must try for seafood lovers. Large indoor capacity and very spacious. Loads of big tv’s upstairs for the sports fans."

"Walk in this restaurant when walking by the main road, was greeted by friendly & polite wait staff. Seated promptly and orders taken. Steak doneness was cook correctly - very happy with it. Had it with & without sauce and it still tastes good."
